STEVEN BANKS has been described as “
a breathtaking performer” by the Classical Voice of North Carolina. Steven regularly performs as the baritone saxophonist of the award-winning Kenari Quartet, which has just released its debut album on the Naxos Records label. He enjoys a particularly diverse career being at home in styles from early classical music to jazz and avant-garde contemporary repertoire. Steven is passionate about raising awareness for diversity in classical music and empowering minorities to pursue the arts. He is a native of Winston-Salem, NC.
