Jacob Bickham has emerged as a striking voice on the saxophone. His recent works include being featured as a concerto soloist with the UMKC Wind Symphony, A new commission for solo Soprano Saxophone, and being part of a university funded research project documenting new etudes by Dr. Alan Theisen.

Being an in demand composer, he reflects the deep authentic flavors of soul and R&B through his composition. He records and premieres new works often, always with an addition of his authenticity. A regular presence on the competition stages of America, Bickham is known for the intensity and poise he brings to his performances. He also runs a popular instagram where he posts practice progress, his recital dates, and new works.
